GerbilMechs 024 : Confluence

Ahem. Hi. The Wai storyline is starting to wind down. We'll get to the real meat of GerbilMechs any month now, and I just bought a shiny new .3mm lead pencil for fine face detail and stuff, so GM is only going to get better. Yay!

I ended up renting Rachet+Clank for another day...I beat the game literally half an hour after it was due. For a game that was an amusing if moderately easy diversion, the last boss was a real kick in the ass. It's been a while since a last boss could bend me over that consistently, but I triumphed in the end.

I would like to find the camera guy for Rachet+Clank and give him a good whupping. Not that the camera was bad or unusable, but it had severe issues with the magnet-boots sections. Since these sections invariably involve narrow paths above certain death, adding in an insolent camera only frustrates the player. I finally conquered these parts by taking tiny little baby steps and keeping the camera adjusted manually. Heads up for anyone else out there who wants to play it.

Boy, if I want a comic up over Thanksgiving, I better start on it soon...
