05Nov02 (Monthenor): If this comic were Star Trek, this is what we'd call a "bottle episode". We're going to have at least one more week of Carl's thread before getting back to Bodie.

Ugh...my latest cold is almost gone, and good riddance. It's not the cold that bothered me so much, it's the cold pills. See, I bought these cheap store brand pills that had like twice the active ingredient of everything else. I thought I was getting a deal...turns out that nobody else has that much *rummage rummage* pseudoephedrine because that much will fuck you up. Sure, it got rid of my congestion (for up to eight hours!), but I felt like I should be crushing it up into lines and snorting it. Between that and the cold itself, I didn't even get to the comic until today.

Phew, done. Now I have time to play Vice City again! Woowoo!
