06May05 (Monthenor): Gogeek was recently the target of a...strange...offer. Somebody wanted to buy gogeek.org to preserve it for future generations. What? Even at its height, gogeek was little more than a hobby site throwing together the interests of a very small group of tech students. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't a huge deal in the annals of the Intarwebs. It's very easy (for me) to envision sinister ulterior motives and take them to their illogical extreme. And if it becomes a summer blockbuster, well, then we can sell gogeek for lots more afterwards!
