07Feb03 (Monthenor): Dark Merger ends as it began: sitting around in the apartment watching TV. Since I am, in fact, hella lazy, I decided to put my digital camera to work for me and get the comic done in record time. Hurrah for laziness! Hm, was this a good deal? Yes, yes it was. Mmmm.... |

It's funny because it's true. Usually, the buzz at the door will be someone we know. Nine times out of ten we know who it is and why they're here. It's the tenth time you get The Great Old One. Or Evil John Edward… which, now that I think about it, is a rather redundant name. Thanks to Monty for this enlightening link; I'll have to add somethingawful's Photoshop Phriday to my periodic browsing of Fark's Photoshoping. Public Service Announcement for Mozilla-using Geeks: Tabbrowser Extensions is the bomb. Yo. Blech, that felt wrong. It lets you do things like reorder loaded tabs, auto-reload on a specified delay, etc.; apparently, things that Galeon users have had for a while. Well goodie for them. ;-) Anyway, the hint may be from a Mac OS X site, but thanks to .xpi, it's all good for all Mozilla users. However, I forewarn you of the developer's page for this software. Because it is just a page; singular, uno, big. And something is definitely lost in the translation: one of the new tab options is "Do when not only first Navigator but also every one starts up". Um, yeah, right. I must say I find this comic quite… scrumtrillescent. That's a good thing, if you're unsure. Kudos, Monty. My advice: feel free to be lazy as often as you like. :-) |
