03Jan03 (Monthenor): Hey, long time no rant. New comic up, right on time, as Dark Merger races towards a climax.
But that's not what I want to talk about. For those who have known me for a while, you've doubtless heard of my previous creative outlets. Over Christmas break I was planning on getting really ahead in the comic and maybe having a buffer for any further vacation. Ha. What actually ended up happening (aside from buying Tony Hawk 4) was that I picked up a hobby I hadn't touched in almost a year. There was a half-finished video project that had been missing the last DVD of source footage for a while, and then suffering from the focus on GMechs afterwards. I finally got back into the CPU-intensive groove this past week, and I'm proud to say that I have finally finished it. Done. Fini. No Side.
It's a really good feeling, compounded by the survival of the last wedding I know of. Now that Legge and Andi are Legge and Legge, none of my friends are busy being engaged. Right? RIGHT??
04Jan03 (Monthenor): Oh yeah, just in case any of you care (which you don't), the CafePress SPOOGE store now has updated designs. Some of the colors on the old ones blended together, and the gold text was a bit hard to read. This was actually done before break, but like I said, nobody seems to care.

Not that we're pushing any of our remaining coupled-friends to get engaged. At least I'm not; being a groomsman for a wedding of very close friends has sufficiently weirded me out for a few months. Take your time; give this poor ol' bachelor a chance to adjust his world view and pull out of the downward spiral into existentialism.
Just for the record, I'm calling it: those are my nanites being redirected to navigation... "right of North Dakota" indeed. Although there may be some room for debate of my navigation skills, I almost always know where I'm going. Sometimes I even intend to take the scenic route. ;-)
